That’s what she calls her Grammy that lives in Chimney Rock, North Carolina.
She’s the kinda Grammy that kids love. Lives in the mountains right next to a river and has a bunch of cats and even deer that are fed in the back yard. Roxy thought that was the coolest thing.
We just got back from seeing Grammy and Uncle Jimmy and Roxanne can not stop talking about all the fun she had.
We went to the Gem Mine where Grammy purchased the best bucket in the whole place so that Rox could start mining for gold.

Eureka!
An amethyst geode.

“My treasures.”

It started raining and next thing I know is this. Even though there is a perfectly nice chlorinated pool for her to enjoy, this made her and Samson the happiest.
One of the things I am thrilled about is her joy when it rains. I know she gets it from me and that makes my heart smile. Cheesy but I don’t care!

Grammy has a friend that lives on Lake Lure (where Dirty Dancing was filmed) and we were able to take the boat for a little spin.
Captain Barbara and her little Skipper.

And she naturally poses like a super model.

Even though I am a worry wart mom, I do not show this fear because I want Rox to enjoy life without Mommy being a party pooper.
This is one of those time. I had the biggest grin and cheering her and Daddy on but deep down inside I was scared. I can’t help it.

Still practicing with Frankie. Looks just like a train track model. Yeah.
