Christina’s Wedding Dress And Giveaway!

My little niece will be married in less than a year!

And I am proud to say she picked an awesome photographer to capture her day.  Me!  Good choice there, Christina.

So excited for this wedding for many reasons.  One is because Roxy Rox is going to be a flower girl.

I talked Christina in letting me purchase her dress for the big day.  It would be totally her choice and I would just pull out the credit card.

She lives in Tampa but headed up to Tallahassee so we could go to Vocelles, The Bridal Shoppe.

Now the fun.  Christina picked out a gorgeous dress.  Here are four that she tried on.  One will be making its debut in May of 2011.

Leave a comment with the number of the dress that you think Christina selected by Thursday night.  I will take the correct guesses and draw the winner on Friday.  One guess per person please.

The winner will get a $100 gift card to Target!

Bruce and I said our ‘I Dos’ in our attorney’s office while buying rental property.  What the heck, the marriage license was in the car.  They said the paperwork would be easier if we were married.

I know, we are soooo romantic.  At that time in my life I wanted a baby and not a wedding.  My eggs were getting old.

Now I have Roxanne and I want a wedding.  At least I can have fun with Christina’s big day.

Thank you so much Kristen and your team for making our Christina feel like a Princess.

Wanda & Chip

Everyone knows my love affair with Goodwood.

But listen to this…

Wanda lived in Pensacola and Chip lived in Key West.  They both headed to Goodwood in beautiful Tallahassee for a work conference.  They met and were both smitten with each other.

They both decided to make Tallahassee their home so they could be together.

On the year anniversary of their meeting, Wanda packed a picnic for the two of them and headed out to Goodwood to enjoy the day.

Chip was as nervous as a little school boy when he got down  on one knee and asked Wanda to be his wife.

And now their wedding will be at Goodwood this fall and I get to be a part of their Goodwood magic.

Any chance I can practice with Frankie, i will.

Lover’s Moon

“I promise I’m not trying to make your life harder
Or return to where we were

I will go down with this ship
And I won’t put my hands up and surrender
There will be no white flag above my door

I’m in love and always will be”  ~Dido, lyrics to White Flag

The view from my front porch tonight.  The moon when hung big and high… the sweet melancholy of past loves.

I got a new toy and have been playing around.  More to come from this bad boy.

Katie & Nick

Nick left South Dakota and headed South to Miami with a great teaching position.

At that very same school, Katie showed up for a teaching position.

But it took a beach party thrown by friends for the sparks to fly.

This past Saturday, their family and friends gathered in Perry, Florida for a beautiful start to their life together and Mr. and Mrs.!
