Rebecca & Kevin

Rebecca’s parents were married on Friday the 13th.

Kevin’s parents were married on Friday the 13th.

Everyone is still happy after all these years.

So Rebecca and Kevin will be married next year on Friday the 13th!  A very lucky day for these two.

St. Marks in the morning is a humbling experience.  Beautiful.

Rebecca & Scott

Their first date was last November at Chez Pierre.  They both knew that day that they could not wait for the next time they saw each other.

Many dates later, Scott planted the seed that they should go enjoy a day at Maclay Gardens.  Where he secretly had flowers and a friend with a camera to capture the moment that he asked sweet Rebecca to be his wife.

She was shocked, happy and smiled her reply of “Yes”.

Sarah & Donal

Sarah was on a camping trip with her family about 13 years ago.  They came across a little puppy that followed them around the whole time.

When it was time to pack up and go home, they were not leaving the puppy behind.  They named her Morgan and the rest is history.

She is gorgeous and loved very much.

Still practicing with the dollhouse lens aka Frankie.

Football season is a lot of fun for these two.

Morgan

They asked if it would be ok if they brought along their fur baby for the engagement shoot.  Of course!

Morgan showed up all sassy and full of spitfire.  She might be an old gal but she still got it going on.

I had to share this image before I crawled into bed with my head cold and orange juice and tissue paper.

I promise I got some images of the couple too.  Hope to share those tomorrow.

Enjoy.

Kelly & David | Chicago

Chicago, home of ‘The Bears’, also gets to be the home for these two jet setters that will be tying the knot this December!

They get to live in a town that is architectural eye candy!

We started the engagement shoot at Buckingham Fountain located in Grant Park.

Does this fountain look familiar to you?  That is because it was in the opening sequence of every “Married With Children” episode.

Hostas and Queen Anne’s Lace grow like weeds in Chicago.  Amazing to see so many blooming plants in July.

Kelly is a sweet and easy going.  Then we have David.  Full of energy and a total extrovert.

He can just look at her and she will start laughing.

This is most commonly know as ‘The Bean’ but its true name is Cloud Gate.

We ended at Millenium Park where the Crown Fountains are the center of attention.  They are constructed of glass bricks that display digital images of faces.  Some faces will pucker up and water will come out of the mouth.

Just a small sample of the Chicago Skyline.

Wanda & Chip

Everyone knows my love affair with Goodwood.

But listen to this…

Wanda lived in Pensacola and Chip lived in Key West.  They both headed to Goodwood in beautiful Tallahassee for a work conference.  They met and were both smitten with each other.

They both decided to make Tallahassee their home so they could be together.

On the year anniversary of their meeting, Wanda packed a picnic for the two of them and headed out to Goodwood to enjoy the day.

Chip was as nervous as a little school boy when he got down  on one knee and asked Wanda to be his wife.

And now their wedding will be at Goodwood this fall and I get to be a part of their Goodwood magic.

Any chance I can practice with Frankie, i will.

Jennifer & Chris

Chris loves the ocean and can name any fish with accuracy by just seeing it’s shadow. I am sure the CIA has a need for this.

It was only fitting to head out to the beach for Jennifer and Chris’s engagemnent session.

They brought along their fur babies.  They even have names after fish.

The older brown baby is Ahi and the younger blonde is Kohala.

Jennifer has the best smiles and laugh.

Love this one.  Simple, easy and relaxing.

Tasha & Philip

They always enjoyed going out to Southwood to bike, run and walk.  The oaks, moss and lake are beautiful to view while working on your fitness.

On a special day last year.  Philip needed to take a little break and stretch out his knee and leg.  Tasha happily followed him to a shaded area between two live oak trees overlooking the lake to patiently wait while Philip did his stretching.

While on one knee he reached into his pocket, pulled out the stunner of a ring and asked Tasha to marry him.

We went back to Southwood for the engagement shots!  Wedding this December.

It was early in the morning and the sun was right behind them.  Loving this.

Her hair is a little on the red side.  Love the colors when the sun hits it.

The exact spot of the proposal.

Taylor and Eddie

It was a couple of days before Christmas when Eddie decided that Taylor and he should have a picnic at Lake Ella.

They had the whole place to themselves.

He asked her, “Do you want your Christmas present now?”

She of course said yes.

That was when he pulled out the ring and asked her to be his wife.

We went back to the very spot he asked her.  Right on the edge with the water spouts in the background.

Then we headed to Kleman Plaza.

I love how he looks at her.

Lisa & Stevie

Lisa and Stevie live in Denver.  They came into town for the weekend for a wedding and to be at their engagement party.

And to also have some engagement pictures done!  Lisa was thrilled with the 90 degree Tallahassee weather this past weekend.  It still a little chilly in Denver.

I love how they hold each other.
