Hannah’s Bridal

She is getting married this Saturday but told me it was okay to post her bridal because I could not stand to wait any longer.  “I love them” would be an understatement.  (Pretty please, do not mention on Facebook until after Saturday.  Her fiance might notice.)

Hannah totally left the details of the shoot to me.  I brought Meghan in to work her magic for some high fashion, editorial feel to the images.

And the dress… my all time favorite from Vocelle’s!

Hair and Makeup:  Makeup by Meghan

Dress:  Vocelles, The Bridal Shoppe

A little dollhouse.

A modern dress with a vintage feel.  The appliques add to the sweet romance.

This is my favorite type of bustle on a wedding dress.  The French Bustle.

Her sisters were able to practice bustling and will be ready on Saturday.

Erin | Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas

Is it wrong to beg someone to let you shoot their wedding when they don’t even have a boyfriend yet?

I’m not proud of it.

Erin showed up looking stunning.  She also chose to do the photo shoot at Red Rock Canyon which is only 20 minute drive from Vegas.

I am not use to the terrain so I was worried about camouflaged snakes.  Erin was brave enough to venture way out while I hugged the trail.

It is a popular place for cyclists.  We had plenty that went by during the photo shoot.  Oddly enough, none of them checked out the photographer.  hmmm.

She got a lot of whistles and nice comments which caused this reaction.

She is sweet and caring that her nickname is ‘Mother Hen’.

She reminds me of Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice.

Suppa Time

It’s Suppa Time again!

I first photographed this band in the studio but this time they wanted to show more of their Southern roots by using the Tallahassee landscape.

So we went to my favorite Tallahassee place, Goodwood.

Because they are a rocking band, I use more actions than I normally would.  To give it more pop.

No actions needed here.  Just Southern charm.

Sandy Paws at Cole Couture

Cole Couture is the  exclusive carrier of Sandy Paws dog collars.

Kristin the designer and creator of each piece did it out of love for her Isabella.  A chocolate lab that was very much loved by Kristin, family and friends.  She went to doggie heaven and Kristin wanted to do this for her.

All profits go to doggie charities.

*Trivia:  Cole Couture is named after another chocolate lab, who is Isabella’s brother.*

You know Cole Couture is a fresh clothing store when this is what the bell ringer looks like.  Love it!

Roll Tide!

I gotta feeling that at least two people are very happy in Pensacola.

Yes, this was their awesome attire for a wedding reception.  I found out the significant of the houndstooth hat that evening.  Bear Bryant had style is all I gotta say.

Suppa Time

The band needed some promo shots before they hit the road on their busy schedule for 2010.  Happy to oblige.

The pink chair was purchased for brides and little girls in mind, but when Suppa Time spotted it’s awesomeness in the corner, they pulled it out for some shots.

Picasso had his blue period, this could be Suppa Time’s pink period.

We got Leroy and Vermin.

Then Dave and Steve.

Audra

Audra has just graduated from college and decided to follow her dreams.  Headed to Nashville in December to record her songs.

Congratulations on having the courage to go for it and best wishes in your pursuit!

Dorian’s Studio Shots

Dorian is a senior at Lincoln.  I got him in the studio early this morning for some headshots.  He is also a model and already has a couple of commercials under his belt.  Go Dorian!

And this one is Dorian’s absolute favorite.

Kathie’s Studio Shots

So what if you just flew in from Los Angeles with four kids in tow.  Your big sister needs to practice shooting in the studio with a live model!

And your brother-in-law needs more mascot pictures for his World of Warcraft group.  Yes, I married a nerd!

Rock You Like A Hurricane!

Dana is mom and a workaholic.  But deep down inside she is a head banging, metal loving, 80’s hair band kind of girl!

The studio is not complete but I needed a test subject to test out the lighting.  Thanks Dana for playing your alter hard rocking self.

Rock on!
