Erin | Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas

Is it wrong to beg someone to let you shoot their wedding when they don’t even have a boyfriend yet?

I’m not proud of it.

Erin showed up looking stunning.  She also chose to do the photo shoot at Red Rock Canyon which is only 20 minute drive from Vegas.

I am not use to the terrain so I was worried about camouflaged snakes.  Erin was brave enough to venture way out while I hugged the trail.

It is a popular place for cyclists.  We had plenty that went by during the photo shoot.  Oddly enough, none of them checked out the photographer.  hmmm.

She got a lot of whistles and nice comments which caused this reaction.

She is sweet and caring that her nickname is ‘Mother Hen’.

She reminds me of Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice.

Kaylee & Kenny

They met four years ago through friends and are still going strong.

One of my favorite songs pretty much describes them when they are together.

“There’s no combination of words
I could put on the back of a postcard
No song that I could sing
But I can try for your heart
Our dreams, and they are made out of real things
Like a, shoebox of photographs
With sepiatone loving
Love is the answer…

…always better when we’re together.”    ~Lyrics to Better Together by Jack Johnson.

Miss Meg

It’s a sad day in our household.

Miss Meg has spread her wings and flew off to the big city of Philadelphia.  Roxanne and Thomas Elliot already misses her.  And I know Bruce does too but he does a better job of holding it in.

Here’s to your future Miss Meg!  I have my sunglasses on.  :)

Nicole | Miss Springtime Tallahassee

To be young, beautiful and smart.  Ahhhh, that is the life.

Nicole is this years Miss Springtime Tallahassee.  She wears her crown with pride.

Her toes were bright neon orange.  Hot new colors for the summer.

We took some pretty pictures and then Nicole let me play with my Dollhouse lens (Frankie)!

Scott

A banker that needed a head shot.

Of course I asked if we could do some ‘artsy’ stuff too.  Scott was game.

I almost had Bruce take out this little window that did not make sense.  I am so glad I changed my mind because it is now a favorite item.

Johnny Ray

Johnny Ray emcees at the Comedy Zone and will be featuring this May.  So some professional head shots were needed  for his rise to the top.

All this beautiful light was coming into the window and I had to get one shot.  Johnny Ray was happy to play along.

Suppa Time

It’s Suppa Time again!

I first photographed this band in the studio but this time they wanted to show more of their Southern roots by using the Tallahassee landscape.

So we went to my favorite Tallahassee place, Goodwood.

Because they are a rocking band, I use more actions than I normally would.  To give it more pop.

No actions needed here.  Just Southern charm.

Cayer Behavioral Group

This group of hard working women came by the studio for their headshots.  They specialize in providing behavior analytic programs for children diagnosed with Autism and other developmental delays.

I also found out that they will help to potty train your toddler.  I wish I had known this about a year ok.  It would of been worth every penny to get some help in that area.

The Boss Lady, Krista.

Sara and Amanda.

Emily and Nisha.

Suppa Time

The band needed some promo shots before they hit the road on their busy schedule for 2010.  Happy to oblige.

The pink chair was purchased for brides and little girls in mind, but when Suppa Time spotted it’s awesomeness in the corner, they pulled it out for some shots.

Picasso had his blue period, this could be Suppa Time’s pink period.

We got Leroy and Vermin.

Then Dave and Steve.

Audra

Audra has just graduated from college and decided to follow her dreams.  Headed to Nashville in December to record her songs.

Congratulations on having the courage to go for it and best wishes in your pursuit!
