Taylor & Eddie | Southwood Wedding Photography

Taylor and Erica have been best friends since childhood.

Even when they went on to cheer for rival schools, Taylor for FSU and Erica for Florida, they stayed the best of friends and made sure to visit each other often.

On one of these visits, Taylor met Eddie, a Florida Gator football player.

It was instant chemistry and both were smitten with each other but very shy about their feelings.

Their friends decided to rowdy things up by getting them to go on their first date at a Monster Truck Jam! They let loose and this past Saturday, everyone let loose and celebrated their new life together as husband and wife.

Slideshow of the wedding will be up on Friday.

They saw each other before the ceremony.  Taylor and Eddie’s mom helped her get to the spot.  Love this image.

And the bridesmaids were there too.

Pulled out Frankie to get some dollhouse shots.

I get such great reactions when I tell Eddie how HOT he looks.

There were a lot of Seminoles and Gators at this wedding and they all got along great.

Taylor and all her FSU cheerleaders!

How about some MAGIC!  The Magic Shot.

And a Dollhouse Shot.

Lauren & Tyler | St. George Wedding Photography

Last year during the St. Marks fishing tournament, Lauren and Tyler were hard at work trying to win this tournament.

Tyler decided he wanted to try a new lure and got down on one knee to look in his tackle box.  Lauren came over to help in the search because she was anxious to get back to the fishing and Tyler was holding them back from winning.

There they both were, on the boat in the middle of the ocean huddled around a tackle box.  Tyler handing Lauren some lures, some tools and then a little tan colored box.  She was about to place it down with everything else when it hit her and she started laughing and giggling and then crying.

Needless to say, no more fishing was done that day.  They headed off to the Shoals to celebrate with their waiting friends who were all in on the big surprise.

Guess what?  Lauren and Tyler ended up winning anyways!  They caught the most fish that day.

Slideshow of the wedding will be up on Friday.

Lulu Belle was a pound puppy when they found her.  Now she is showered every day with kisses.

She also got to be a part of the big day and walked down the aisle with the flower girl.

Boys Town Gala 2010

The biggest Tallahassee event every year is the Boys Town Gala.  The event raises much needed funds to support the children of Boys Town North Florida.

This year the theme was ‘Art Talks, Kids Rock’.

Which meant the attendees could bid own art pieces by local and international renowned artists such as Julian Mathis and Mershell Sherman.

The auctioneer was the ever popular Mr. Diamantis, who would let out some nervous laughter every time he saw his lovely wife lift her paddle high in the sky for her bids.

A few images from the night and you can see more in the slideshow below.

Dena Strickland in the pretty blue dress does such a fantastic job every year.

Mrs. Diamantis making her hubby’s heart skip faster with a little help from her friend.

This little puppy was a huge hit.  She found a lovely knew home with these two.

I loved the peach dress on Kathy Dahl when I saw it at the event and then this week I see that Carrie has on the same dress in the second Sex and the City movie.  Great taste!

At the end of the night, attendees can purchase balloons with the proceeds going to Boys Town.  Looks like we hit the mother lode of generosity.  Thanks for being such great supporters.

Images of the children of Boys Town has been blurred out to protect the innocent.

Dea & Gordon’s Rehearsal and Dinner

Friday night is here! Started off at the church to make sure that the big day would go nice and smoothly.

Stay tuned.  Dea and Gordon’s wedding images will be up tomorrow. Dea’s wedding shoes.  She gave them a test run on rehearsal night.   The Jimmy Choos did not let her down. The rehearsal dinner was held at the Beach Club at the Cloisters. Gordon’s mom is a woman that can make it happen.  After months of planning the rehearsal night, two weeks before the big day, Gordon politely suggested that he would love it if the dinner could reflect his love of the countryside and plantations that he grew up on. She did it.

The escort table is amazing.  Made with turkey feathers that she collected and hot glue on herself!

The groom’s cake was chocolate carrot cake.

Mr. Mooney started of the dinner with a welcome speech.  The night was full of toasting to Dea and Gordon.

Gordon’s twin sister Mary-Cathyryn said that the Mooney family knew Dea was the one because not only did Dea survive quail season but also participated in it out of love for her brother.

“Gordon need quail risings in his life and Dea understands this and his love for the land.”

Katie & Colson | St. Augustine Wedding Photographer

Southern Charmer meets Mid West Beauty and the two fell head over heels for each other.

After years of anticipation, family and friends arrived in St. Augustine, Florida this past weekend for a vintage inspired wedding at the Oldest House.

Katie is known for shy and humble qualities, so after she selected her muted, cream colored golden dress, she had her bridesmaids select long dresses in the same color scheme as her dress so that she would not be the center of attention.

It did not work.  Katie with her smile and tears (french fries!) shined brightly on her dream day.

Only two words needed to describe, Colson.  Devastatingly beautiful.

Slideshow of the wedding will be up Wednesday night!

I did the Reservoir Dog shot and then the boys wanted to do a jumping shot.  I am calling this one the Beastie Boys shot!

Montford Middle School Cheerleaders!

These girls definitely have team spirit and are ready to cheer on the big game!

Courtney & Jarrod | Dover Eagle Hills Farm Wedding Photographer

During the toast, one of the maid of honors discussed Courtney’s huge heart for animals.  She will go out of her way to rescue homeless animals and that many people at the reception have their kitty or doggy due to her loving heart.

Jarrod was blessed when he found Courtney.   And he will tell you so.

But it shows even more when he watches her from a distance.  Smile that smile.  Touches her hand while she is talking to her friends, just to let her know he is right there.  Right next to her.  Forever.

You two are breath taking in your love.

Dina & Aaron | Tallahassee Wedding Photographer

They headed to Seville, Spain for a little vacation.  On the second day of that vacation, Aaron proposed to his love of 10 years.  Dina was surprised and ecstatic to say the least.

Aaron stated that the proposal could of easily happened five years earlier but they wanted to wait for both of them to be done with Law School.  Yes, they are both highly intelligent individuals.

My first wedding at Hotel Duval.  It is modern, fresh and beautiful.  I am over the moon about these images.  Love them.

The lovebirds are on a plane headed to the City of Love.  Paris, France!

Check the blog on Friday to see a slideshow of the wedding.

When Dina purchased her dress, they said to her that your photographer is just going to love it.  Boy, were they right.  The ruffles, texture and details are amazing.

If you look closely, you can see the Louis Ghost chairs that I am crazy about.  Yes, Hotel Duval is cool.

Her sisters Nadia and Sanna helping her get ready.

Dina and Aaron getting ready to see each other for the first time.

The reflection of the bubble chandeliers on the glass balcony.

The Magic Shot was taken at the bar located at the top of Hotel Duval.  It looks like we are alone but we had a huge audience cheering us on.  Made it even more fun.

Vocelles’ Grand Opening

This past Thursday, Jessica and I joined friends and many new brides at Vocelles grand opening.

Champagne and hors d’ oeuvres were served.  One of  the best part was that Gem Collection was on the premise to clean your jewelry.  Nothing like nice sparkling diamonds to make a girl happy.

Little Fancy made an appearance.  Past her bedtime.

Sarah had the fun job of trying on dresses and mingling.  This dress she has on here is my favorite!

And I love the game ‘Favorites’.  Here are some of the guests with their favorite dresses!

From left to right: Sarah, Jessica, Carrie and Vonna.  Vonna with the cool name is also holding my favorite dress.
